Day 3 of free agency saw 65 players signed, bringing the total number of signings to 158 so far. The market remains active, with 268 bids still outstanding as teams continue to battle for top talent.

Leading the way in total bids is Carlos Quintana, who now has 11 bids. Akira Eto and Benji Gil are right behind with 10 bids each, while Masaki Saito has drawn 9 bids as competition heats up for his services.

Masaki Saito currently holds the highest projected contract, with a four-year deal averaging $200,000 per year. Close behind him is Fred McGriff, who has a three-year offer averaging $200,000 per year.

Other notable contracts currently on the table:

  • Dante Bichette: Three-year deal averaging $175,000 per year.
  • Akira Eto: Five-year deal averaging $170,000 per year.

Key Signing of the Day

The top signing of Day 3 was Dan Plesac, who finalized a three-year deal averaging $240,000 per year. His signing marks one of the biggest commitments so far in free agency.
